Origination fee

A lender charge for making the loan, often expressed as a percent of the loan amount.

It is not automatically the same thing as discount points. Points buy a lower rate. An origination fee might not.

The closing-cost worksheet has a percent you can change. Start there, then replace it with the loan estimate.
