USDA Loan Calculator
The 1% upfront fee and the 0.35% annual fee are planning assumptions. Whether the house is in an eligible area, and whether the household income fits, is not something this page can see.

How this calculator works
- The base loan is the price minus any down payment.
- The upfront guarantee fee is 1% of the base loan in this model and is financed.
- The annual fee is 0.35% and is shown as a level monthly amount.
- The first-month total adds principal and interest to that monthly fee.
A USDA result is not a rural-area finding
A USDA guaranteed loan cares about the map and the household income. A calculator has neither. A payment here is not a finding that the property is rural enough.
The fees have changed before. Treat 1% and 0.35% as labeled assumptions and check USDA's current schedule before you compare a real offer.

Common questions
Is zero down required?
The model allows zero down. It does not mean a particular borrower or house qualifies for a USDA guaranteed loan.
Are the fees current?
They are planning assumptions, not a feed from USDA. Check the current guarantee-fee schedule.
